NOTICE OF APPLICATION & OPTIONAL DNS PROCESS

Date of this Notice: August 21, 2024

Proposal: Martin Culvert Repair (SEPA-24-0004).

Project Description: On August 5, 2024, Camille Washington, Apex Engineering, on behalf of Route 99 LLC, completed their application for a SEPA review checklist to replace 115 linear feet of failing culvert on the site listed below. The application was deemed complete on August 16, 2024.

Location: 18424 Highway 99, (Parcel Numbers: 00374300300603, 00374300300602).

Required Approvals: This project requires the approval of a SEPA permit, as well as associated construction permits.

SEPA Review: The City of Lynnwood has reviewed the proposed project for probable adverse environmental impacts and expects to issue a Determination of Nonsignificance (DNS). This determination is based on the following findings and conclusions: Project is replacement of like materials for like in the same location of a developed site and upon review of a critical areas report, site plan and SEPA checklist.

The optional DNS process of WAC 197-11-355 is being used. This may be your only opportunity to comment on the environmental impact of the proposed project.

Comments and Contact: Comments concerning this project should be made in writing and delivered to the City of Lynnwood Development & Business Services Department office. Only those who provide written comments may appeal the decision.
