2023 Paving Program

This is the first year of Lynnwood’s 2023-2027 Paving Program. Lynnwood continues to commit to constructing annual paving projects. There are nine sites of focus during the 2023 paving program.

Construction activities will include:

• Full depth repair of pavement in selected areas,
• Grind and overlay of pavement in selected areas,
• Water service line replacement,
• Chip seal repairs,
• New channelization for a bike lane,
• Upgrading curb ramps and pedestrian push buttons, and
• Sidewalk improvements.

Arterial streets

The 2023 Project includes three arterial streets:

• 68th Ave W - from 208th St SW to 204th St SW
• 52nd Ave W – from South of 168th St SW to City Limits
• 176th St SW – Sidewalk repairs only

Detour routes will be in place along 68th Ave W and 52nd Ave W during construction. The City will provide updates and detailed information in advance.

Residential streets

The 2023 Project includes improvements to residential streets shown on the map. Lynnwood City Council designated American Rescue Plan Act Funds towards these improvements.
