Lynnwood is a convenient and affordable suburb in Seattle North, located at the intersection of Interstates 5 and 405, with development opportunities in Lynnwood’s Regional Growth Center, City Center, and Opportunity Zone.Lynnwood’s strategic location has made it a natural choice for businesses that depend on a high volume of traffic. Retail has flourished in Lynnwood with the Alderwood mall, Highway 99 and other retail destinations.

Lynnwood's Regional Growth Center (RGC), as designated by the Puget Sound Regional Council (PSRC), is located along I-5 between Alderwood mall and Sound Transit's future light rail station.  Lynnwood is preparing to accommodate future population growth in the RGC with high-density land-use plans and zoning and significant investment in infrastructure improvements. 

Lynnwood's City Center is envisioned to become a vibrant commercial center appealing place to live, work and play.  Land-use plans and zoning are in place for 9.1 million square feet of high-density office, retail residential, and cultural development.

Lynnwood's designated Opportunity Zone (OZ) encompasses the City Center development area and future light rail station.  The Opportunity Zone program offers three tax incentives to encourage long-term investment in low-income communities.
