Decision: On August 9, 2024, the City of Lynnwood’s Hearing Examiner granted approval for a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for a proposed 20 child (4 infants, 6 toddlers, and 10 preschoolers) daycare facility within an existing building. Proposed construction improvements to the 0.23-acre site include the addition of an outdoor play area for up to 10 children. The Hearing Examiner’s Decision can be accessed online at www.lynnwoodwa.gov and searching “Public Land Use Notices”.
Location: The property is located at 6605 202nd ST SW, Lynnwood, WA 98036 (Parcel Number: 00515400000709).
Appeal: Any person who participated in the decision may request reconsideration by the Hearing Examiner by filing a request in writing within 21 days of the effective date of the decision with the Development & Business Services Department which is September 4, 2024. Any person who participated in the decision may file an appeal of the Hearing Examiner’s Decision by filing the appeal to superior court pursuant to the Land Use Petition Act (Chapter 36.70C RCW) within 21 days from the date of issuance of the decision.
